Pet Waste Disposal & Leash Guidelines
Published: December 18, 2024
As a community, we thrive on mutual respect and consideration for one another. It has come to our attention that there have been instances of pet waste not being properly disposed of. This issue not only impacts the cleanliness and aesthetics of our neighborhood but also poses health risks to both residents and their pets.
We kindly ask that all pet owners adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Pick Up After Your Pets: Whenever you take your pets for a walk, please ensure you promptly clean up after them, whether on sidewalks, grassy areas, or any shared spaces.
2. Leash Your Pets: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside. The City of Garland, Texas, enforces a leash law requiring all dogs to be on a leash. Allowing dogs to run at large may result in citations or warnings.
3. Be Considerate of Others: Not all neighbors are pet owners, and everyone values a clean and pleasant environment. By picking up after your pets and following leash rules, you show respect for your fellow homeowners and contribute to a more enjoyable living environment for all.
Maintaining a clean and welcoming community is a shared responsibility. Let's work together to ensure that your neighborhood remains a place everyone is all proud to call home.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
